The program's objective is to use NFL Clubs' training camps, offseason workout program and minicamps to give talented minority coaches opportunities to:
• Observe
• Participate
• Gain Experience
• Ultimately gain a full-time NFL coaching position

"First and foremost I would like to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with this great opportunity to work with some of the best owners, coaches, and players in the world, " said Faunteroy.  "I also have to thank my wife and biggest supporter, Tiffany, along with all of the coaches and players at Shepherd University.  I have always been inspired and motivated by the achievements of current head coach Mike Tomlin.  I look forward to learning from the best and bringing back some new ideas to Shepherd."
