2012: Appeared in 19 games with two starts. Posted a 2-2 mark with a 5.67 ERA. Fanned 14 in 31.1 innings.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2011 graduate of James Wood High School where he played baseball for former Ram Jared Mounts. Lettered four years in baseball and three in football. A two-time All-District choice in both sports. Ranked second in school history in strikeouts (154) and earned run average (1.40).

Personal: The son of Kevin and Tracy Copley. His father played football and his mother was a cheerleader at Fairmont State. Majoring in environmental science.
