2012: Appeared in 12 games without any starts. Posted a 2-0 mark with a pair of saves and a 7.54 ERA. Fanned 14 in 22.2 innings.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2011 graduate of Winters Mill High School where he played baseball for Jason Green. Lettered four years in baseball and three in basketball. A First Team All-County and All-MVAL choice in baseball. Was a Second Team All-County and All-MVAL selection in basketball. Batted .462 with eight doubles and 20 RBIs as a senior. Had 60 strikeouts and a 4.50 ERA on the mound.

Personal: The son of Mark and Barbara Martin. His uncle, Mark Wehland, played lacrosse at UMBC. Majoring in recreation/leisure studies.
