2012: Appeared and started in all 52 games. Batted .354 with 69 hits in 195 at-bats. Scored 54 runs and drove in 30. Had 13 doubles, three triples. and three home runs. Was 6-of-11 in stolen bases.
2011: Appeared and started in one game. Was 1-for-1 in stolen bases and scored a run. Sat out the rest of the season as a medical redshirt.
2010: Appeared and started in 30 games. Batted .351 with 34 hits in 97 at-bats. Scored 26 runs and drove in 17. Had four doubles and a pair of homers.
Prior to Shepherd: A 2009 graduate of Woodbridge High School where he played baseball for former Ram Jason Ritenour. Lettered three years in baseball and one in track. A First Team All-District choice and Team MVP as a senior. Also an Honorable Mention All-Met selection. At two-time First Team All-District honoree.
