2011: Sat out the season as a medical redshirt.
2010: Earned First Team All-WVIAC and Second Team NFCA All-Region honors as she posted a 20-9 mark with a ERA. She set new Shepherd single season records for most appearances (32), most victories (20), most innings pitched (188.1), and most strikeouts (185). Also batted .317 with 46 hits in 145 at-bats. Drove in 21 runs and scored 23. Tied for the team lead in doubles with 12. Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
2009: Earned Second Team All-WVIAC honors as she led the Rams pitching staff in wins (10), strikeouts (123), innings pitcher (134.2), appearances (25), games started (19), complete games (12), and shutouts (5). Her 123 strikeouts set a new Shepherd single season mark. Also batted .322 with seven doubles and a pair of home runs. Scored 12 runs and drove in 18.
Prior to Shepherd: A 2008 graduate of Canfield High School where she played softball for Ronnie Haurin. A three-year letterwinner on the diamond. A member of three MAC Championship teams and two district champion teams for Canfield. A three-time First Team MAC selection. Gained All-District and All-NEO accolades in her career.
Personal: The daughter of Joseph and Edith Bettura. Her father, Joseph, played baseball at Ashland College. Majoring in education.
