2008-09: Appeared in 29 games in 27 starts. Averaged 12.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. Led the team in three pointers (70) and three-point field goal percentage (.443). Had a career-high 30 points against Salem International behind a 7-of-13 performance from beyond the arc. Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against UPJ.
2007-08: Appeared in 29 games with 19 starts. Averaged 9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. A top threat from beyond the arc, he was second on the team in three-pointers with 48. Displayed a great touch at the free throw line with a .818 (81-99) percentage. Scored a season-high 26 points against Davis & Elkins.
Prior to SU: Lettered for four years in basketball and three in golf at Chambersburg High School. A two-time Big 15 player. Gained First Team All-Conference and All-District honors. Scored over 1,200 points.
Personal: The son of Thomas and Barbra Motichka. A 2006 graduate of
Chambersburg High School, Motichka is majoring in accounting.
