GREENSBURG, Pa. – Senior forward Shane Lowery (Boonsboro, MD/Boonsboro) scored on a feed from sophomore defender Max Psillas (Hagerstown, MD/North Hagerstown) at the 102:13 mark to lift Shepherd University to a 1-0 overtime win over Seton Hill in WVIAC men’s soccer action at Seton Hill on Saturday.
Shepherd had an 11-10 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
Freshman goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, MD/Willliamsport) recorded five saves for the Rams. Jordan Sodhi had four saves for the Griffins
Shepherd improves to 4-6-1, 2-2-0 in conference play, while Seton Hill falls to 2-10-0, 2-3-0. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Alderson-Broaddus for a 3 p.m. conference matchup.
