PRINCETON, W.Va. --  Senior cornerback Keon Robinson (Fairfax Station, VA/Lake Braddock) and junior cornerback DJ Scott (Frederick, MD/Thomas Johnson) of the Shepherd University football team gained WVIAC weekly honors. Robinson was selected as WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week, while Scott earned WVIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

Robinson helped the Rams register a 20-6 win over Concord. In the victory, Robinson posted 10 tackles, all of which were solo stops. He also added an interception and had a pass break-up.

Scott picked up a blocked field goal attempt and ran it back 71 yards for a touchdown in the win over the Mountain Lions. His touchdown increased the Rams’ lead to 11 with just 1:04 to play in the third quarter. He also added four solo tackles in the game.
