SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to Concord in WVIAC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. Concord recorded a 25-16, 25-23, 25-23 victory.

Junior middle hitter Meg Kenny (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) had eight kills and three blocks to pace the Rams. Senior outside hitter/right side Lauren Gardner (Clarkston, MI/Clarkston) had a match-high 13 digs, while senior setter Sara Michael (Winchester, VA/James Wood/Hagerstown CC) contributed 25 assists and six digs.

Brytni Willis had 11 kills and 10 digs to lead Concord.

Shepherd falls to 5-10 overall, 1-3 in WVIAC play, while Concord improves to 7-11, 2-2. The Rams are idle until October 9 when they host Indiana (Pa.) for a 7 p.m. match.
