GREENSBURG, Pa. – Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to Seton Hill in WVIAC volleyball action at Seton Hill on Tuesday night. The Griffins recorded a 25-20, 25-18, 25-16 victory.

Senior outside hitter/libero Kasey Mercier (Baltimore, MD/Mount de Sales Academy) had 12 kills and eight digs to pace the Rams. Sophomore right side Valerie Bour (Willoughby Hills, OH/Willoughby South) added five kills and a team-high 10 digs, while senior setter Sara Michael (Winchester, VA/James Wood/Hagerstown CC) contributed 24 assists.

Christina Donahoe had eight kills and Abigail Malsch added seven kills and 13 digs for the Griffins.

Shepherd falls to 4-9 overall, 0-2 in WVIAC play, while Seton Hill improves to 6-7, 1-0. The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Bluefield State for a 6 p.m. contest.
