BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Shepherd University dropped a 1-0 decision to Bloomsburg in men’s soccer action at Bloomsburg on Tuesday night.
The Huskies tallied the game’s only goal when Stephen Pieri scored on a header off a cross from Miguel Diaz at the 43:24 mark.
Shots were even at 9-all and each team had a pair of corner kicks.
Freshman goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, MD/Willliamsport) had two saves for the Rams. Bernie Roell had four saves for the Huskies. Shepherd falls to 2-2-1, while Bloomsburg improves to 3-1-0. The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Concord for a 2 p.m. contest.
