SETON HILL DOWNS SHEPHERD MEN’S SOCCER, 3-0 (9-19-2009)
GREENSBURG, Pa. – Three different players tallied goals to lead Seton Hill to a 3-0 win over Shepherd University in WVIAC men’s soccer action at Seton Hill on Saturday afternoon. Shepherd falls to 3-4, 1-2 in conference play, while Seton Hill improves to 4-2-1, 2-2.

Joe Kossler, Doug Schmitt, and Mike Belsito each had a goal for the Griffins.

Seton Hill had a slim 12-to-10 shots advantage, while corner kicks were even at 1-1.

Seton Hill led 1-0 at the break.

Freshman goalkeeper Derek Munro (Williamsport, MD/Williamsport) had nine saves for the Rams, while Jon DeLuca tallied 10 saves for the Griffins.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Washington Adventist for a 7 p.m. contest.
