TICKETS ON SALE FOR SHEPHERD ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME BANQUET (9-7-2009)
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Tickets are now on sale for the Shepherd University Athletic Hall of Fame banquet. Four new members will be inducted at the banquet on Friday, September 18. The quartet will also be honored at the Shepherd–Seton Hill football game on Saturday, September 19 as part of Hall of Fame Weekend festivities.
Coach Ed Fincham, Jennifer Chapman Goldsmith ’00 (women’s basketball), join football standouts John Treadway ’89 and Brian Lamb ’99 and ’04 as the 24th class to be inducted. The “fabulous four” bring the total number of members in the Shepherd Athletic Hall of Fame to 117.
The Athletic Hall of Fame banquet will be held at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Shepherdstown. The evening will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and induction ceremony at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 and may be purchased through the University's Alumni Relations Office by calling 304-876-5157.
