EDINBORO, Pa. –  Karisa Fernandez scored a pair of goals to lead Edinboro University (1-0-1) to a 6-0 win over Shepherd University in women’s soccer action at Edinboro on Sunday.

Rachel Dahlstrand, Melissa Leszek, Alexa Dinapoli, and Dakota France each added single tallies for the Fighting Scots.

Sophomore Lauren Vetock (Pasadena, MD/ Institute of Notre Dame) had seven saves and freshman Tessa Jones (Gaithersburg, MD/ Magruder) added a save in goal for the Rams.

The Rams (0-2) return to action next Saturday when they host Davis and Elkins in the conference opener at 2 p.m.
