PUGH NAMED TENNIS COACH AT SHEPHERD (8-26-2008)

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University director of athletics Karl Wolf announced today that Justin Pugh has been named the new head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Shepherd. He will be assisted by former Ram women’s tennis standout Tracy Fries.

Pugh, an assistant at Shepherd under former head coach Chris Stambuagh from 2005-07, served as the head boys tennis coach at Musselman High School for the past two seasons. A 2002 graduate of Shepherd, Pugh was a four-year standout on the Ram golf team. He earned his master’s degree from Marshall University in 2007.
