PRINCETON, W. Va. – Senior first baseman Nathan Minnich (Waynesboro, PA/Waynesboro Area Sr.) of the Shepherd University baseball team has been named the WVIAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office today.

Minnich added his fifth WVIAC Player of the Week honor with his performance last week. He led the Rams to a 4-1 week, batting .500 in the four games. Minnich drove in nine runs and scored nine times. He belted a pair of round-trippers on the week, raising his season total to 21. The standout also established two school records last week. Minnich set season marks for total bases (141) and most RBI (66).
