MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. -- The Shepherd University men’s golf team finished sixth out of 10 teams at the Wheeling Jesuit Spring Invitational at the Moundsville Country Club. Davis & Elkins took team honors with a two day total of 619, while Ryan Thomson of West Liberty was the individual winner with a 143.

Senior Cameron Beckner (Martinsburg, WV/Durand (MI)/Mott CC) fired a two-round total of 156 to finish in a tie for eighth place. He was followed by sophomore Bryan Milburn (Ranson, WV/Jefferson)  (159, T-15th), senior Chris Gilkey (Crofton, MD/Arundel) (162, T-20th), and freshman Tim Wilson (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) (182, 41st).
