SHANK NAMED WVIAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PRINCETON, W.Va. -- Senior forward Danley Shank (Pond Bank, PA/Chambersburg) of the Shepherd University men's basketball team was named WVIAC Player of the Week for his standout play last week.

Shank scored 19 of his game-high 25 points in the second half in Shepherd's 60-51 regional win over Shippensburg. He added six rebounds as the Rams avenged a 30-point loss to Shippensburg last season. The Rams are one of two remaining league squads without a defeat.
